Terms of Service

Effective date: September 23, 2026

These terms cover your use of highschoolhustle.org. High School Hustle is a project of Sagamore Institute, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Indianapolis, Indiana.

1. Who we are

High School Hustle is a project of Sagamore Institute, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Indianapolis, Indiana. These terms cover your use of highschoolhustle.org (the "site"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What these terms cover, and what they don't

These terms cover the public website: its pages, the Hire a Hustler and Shop directory, and the forms on it.

They do not cover the Summer Competition. The competition has its own rules: the Official Terms for the 2026 Summer Competition. If anything here conflicts with those terms about the competition, the Official Terms win.

They also do not cover the High School Hustle dashboard at hshdashboard.org, where students, mentors and campus leaders sign up. The dashboard is a separate service and may have its own terms.

3. Using the site

You can read, share and link to the site for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't:

  • copy or republish the site's content, photos or videos without permission;
  • scrape the directory or collect information about students;
  • try to break, overload or get around the site's security, including its spam and bot checks;
  • use the site or its forms to send spam, or anything unlawful, harassing or misleading.

We may block access for anyone who does.

4. Hire a Hustler and Shop

High School Hustle is a directory and introduction service. We are not an employer, agent, or guarantor of any student listed here, and we are not a party to the work you arrange. Every listing has a signed parent or guardian consent on file. We never publish a student's phone number, email, home address or school.

A few more things to know if you hire a hustler or buy from one:

  • The deal is between you and the student. You pay the hustler directly.
  • The students are high schoolers, and many are minors. A parent or guardian is copied on every introduction.
  • You're responsible for deciding whether a student is right for the job, and for keeping the work safe and lawful.
  • Listings describe each student's own hustle. We don't guarantee the quality, timing or price of any work or product.

5. Forms

When you send a form (contact, post a job, request a quote, or report a listing), you agree that the information is accurate and that we can use it to respond and to share your request with the students it concerns. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Don't put anything sensitive in a form that it doesn't ask for.

6. Links to other sites

The site links to sites we don't run, including the dashboard, our donation form, YouTube, Vimeo and social media. We're not responsible for their content or their terms. Videos from YouTube and Vimeo load only when you click play.

7. Donations

Donations are made to Sagamore Institute, Inc., a 501(c)(3), and are tax-deductible as the law allows. Online gifts go through a third-party donation form with its own terms. Questions about a gift, including one made in error, go to gabriel@highschoolhustle.org.

8. Our content

The site's text, logos, photos and videos belong to High School Hustle, Sagamore Institute, Inc., or the people who licensed them to us.

9. No warranty

We work to keep the site accurate and up to date, but it is provided "as is." We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or complete. Numbers on the site, such as program stats, may be updated or corrected at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, High School Hustle and Sagamore Institute, Inc. are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages that come from using the site or from any work or purchase arranged through the directory.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and the United States.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms: gabriel@highschoolhustle.org or the contact form.
